Abigail Smith, MFT
Associate Licensed Therapist
I move through my work with warmth, patience, and intention. I believe growth happens when you feel safe enough to be honest — about your fears, your questions, and the parts of yourself you may still be trying to understand. Creating a space where you feel truly heard and respected is not just important to me — it is foundational.
I work primarily with teens, young adults, and families navigating seasons of transition. Adolescence and early adulthood can feel both exciting and disorienting. You may be figuring out who you are, where you belong, or how to manage expectations — your own and others’. There can be pressure to have it all together while still feeling uncertain inside. In our work together, we slow things down. We make room for your voice, your emotions, and your lived experience without rushing you toward answers.
I also deeply value working with families, including those raising neurodiverse children. Family systems are complex and layered. Sometimes love is present, but understanding feels just out of reach. I gently explore patterns and dynamics while honoring each person’s perspective. My goal is not to assign blame, but to build clarity, compassion, and a stronger connection.
I am continually inspired by the resilience of the individuals and families I work with. Supporting young people as they grow into adulthood — learning to trust themselves, advocate for their needs, and build meaningful relationships — is work I hold with care.
Together, we will create a space where growth feels possible, connection feels safer, and you feel supported as you move toward the next chapter of your life.
