Intern Therapist
Navigating emotions can be difficult, especially when life feels unpredictable or overwhelming. Many people struggle to find a space where they feel truly safe to process their thoughts and feelings, and I strive to provide that space in my work. My goal is to help clients feel supported and understood while exploring their experiences, building resilience, and gaining clarity. I honor each person’s unique pace and process, creating an environment where you can grow and heal on your own terms.
I am currently a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I bring both personal insight and professional training to my work. I use a tailored approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with person-centered strategies, and when desired, incorporates faith as a guiding resource. In sessions, we examine how your thoughts, behaviors, relationships, and environment shape your emotions, while also attending to the ways your body and nervous system respond to stress, anxiety, and life transitions. Together, we build on your existing strengths and explore new strategies to support your growth and well-being.
As a former athlete, I also enjoy working with clients in sports settings and understand the unique pressures, expectations, and identity challenges that come with competition. I aim to help athletes balance performance with emotional health and resilience, on and off the field.
My goal is to provide a welcoming and empathetic space where adolescents, young adults, and adults feel heard, seen, and empowered to explore new ways of being. Together, we can work toward healing, personal growth, and greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
